Treasurer’s Report (Greg $3063 in the checking plus about 200 in cash, plus some doubles money etc. Festivus (Greg) There are 42 paid registrations and 10 spoken for beyond that. Food donations are needed. Placements: #1 Greg would like a deeper placement than either of the usual two that we play on this hole. 2 short, 3 Mt Everett, 4 short, 5 on berm, 6 middle, 7 left, we won’t play 8, 9 Left, 10 deep, 11 out of woods, temporary holes will be different. Island will be played backward from usual. Next will cross road from site up near the corner of the mowed land, to 1st base zone, but still on grass). Next will be a 3rd along parking lot back to hole 12, 12 will be deep right. 13 deep center, Island hole no change from last year planned, 14 to middle , 15 to 16 short position, 17 tentatively to be in long position, 18 short, There may be changes to extra 2 holes that come here in the flow but they may stay as previous. So in summary: Festivus will still have 22 holes, but with some interesting changes from past years. Trophies are going to be somewhat different. Our TD also entertains the possibility of having a hole with one tee pad, but with two alternate baskets to choose from. Adair (Everett) Has been building stairs onto the berm on 10. This is first to aid in retrieval of discs on or over the berm, and secondly we may eventually put a site for a hole ten basket up on the berm, as we know what fun berm baskets can be. There may be almost enough railroad ties left over to run the stairs on down the back of the berm, too. Willamette (Jay and others) No report. Adair Doubles (Mike Gibson) seems to be going well. Craig reported 426 dollars in Mulligans. 2 Aces in the last week (Mike Key and Eric Smith). Eric donated his for food for the Wash. There are 332 dollars in Ace money, plus 200 in the club's reserve Ace fund. Handicap Tourney at Adair (Mike Storrs) The fall season: 137 rounds of golf, 119 dollars for Festivus. 12 weeks, 16 players was the biggest day, 9 was the least, average of 14.2 players. John Bain and Brad McDougal tied for 1st overall in the fall series. Mike plans to have a spring/summer series on Tuesday and Thursday, probably. Disc Sales (Dave Pittman) have been slow this month, as expected. For year 1,390 discs were sold. 3,082 dollars netted for the club. New trend is for non-disc items which can be bought or redeemed with script. Pretty much anything out of Inova's or Discraft's catalogs can be ordered. See Dave is there's something you want. Albany Club (Dave Pittman) Simpson park now has 6 playable holes. Intent is to have 18 playable by fall. President’s Report: (Jay) Jay is taking PDGA membership applications. Also it is time for WDGC renewal ($10/year/family). Idea of using $13 script as substitute for $10 cash was discussed, and a proposal to allow use of script passed unanimously. The question of extending this to tournament entry fees was explored but not decided. The class for older beginning disc golfers in early April, at Willamette, sponsored by the Parks dept will be offered by Bob and Jay. Elections to be next month. Respectfully submitted, Bob Burton, secy.
