Willamette Disc Golf Club Monthly Meeting 6/1/09
Present: Dave Pittman, Larry Evans, Everett Kaser, (Presiding),   Kelley
Christianson, Casey Lohrman, Bob Burton, Greg Johnson, Eric Smith, Karl
Pilote, Justin Skinnell, Rick Reichard, Chris Dimbat,  Mike Storrs.

Treasurer’s Report   (Greg)  $2400  tot.(but other moneys in other people’s
hands right now)  ( $400 allocated to Willamette Open,  $200 for Ace Pot,)
Greg proposes that the club front the money for all future disc purchases no
matter which source we use (Discraft, Innova, etc).
 
Adair (Everett) Blackberries need work, “Cambodia” of hole 14  is grown up
and easy to lose discs in.  Hole 8 might be elongated.  He notes that the
Parks people are negative about expanding our trampling of the forest, and
so only limited expansion into new holes (nixed) or alternative placements,
is allowed.

Willamette  (We only have until August to do our in-kind contribution of
donated labor)

Wash Tournament Saturday July 25th Eric Smith is planning to fund-raise
for food share and to avoid buying tee shirts to distribute to participants,
which he and others feel we have a sufficiency of already.

Adair Doubles -no formal report, but scuttlebutt is that it seems to be going well. 

Handicap Tourney at Adair going well per Mike Storrs.  Averaging 12 people.  

Disc Sales (Dave)  Dave reports 700 dollars in sales this month.  93 discs
plus whatever Jay sold.  (39 discs sold in the park netted the club $208,
which is roughly what we paid the Parks dept ).  We need to buy an awning
to handle sales at Calapoiea, Willamette Open, and possibly the Rose City Open.
We could have sold discs at the BSF, but no one was available to man the
tournament.
